Alfatec Group proudly supports the educational initiative "AI se educiraj" (Get Educated on AI), organized by the Croatian Association for Artificial Intelligence (CroAI). This initiative aims to bring the world of artificial intelligence closer to teachers, professors, principals, and non-teaching staff in primary and secondary schools, as well as universities.
Led by our R&D Director, Ive Botunac, these workshops introduce the use of available AI tools in education, a topic of great relevance to the academic community. During each workshop, Ive presents practical examples of AI in action, making complex technologies accessible and relevant.
Held so far in Zadar, Bjelovar, and Split, the workshops have drawn more than 500 participants from the academic community, highlighting the growing interest in AI education.
Upcoming sessions in Pula, Rijeka, and Varaždin will also be led by Ive, whose expertise in AI and dedication to scientific research make him an exceptional guide. Alongside his work at Alfatec Group, Ive is actively pursuing a PhD in artificial intelligence, which adds both depth and practical insight to each workshop. Participants gain a unique perspective on how AI can become a valuable tool in the educational system, benefiting students and educators alike.
These workshops, part of the Systematic Thematic Support by the National Foundation for Civil Society Development, focus on "Artificial Intelligence and Social Development." They provide participants with the opportunity to engage with foundational AI technologies and address ethical considerations in implementing these innovations. All participants receive certificates of participation, recognizing their commitment to understanding and responsibly applying AI in their institutions.
Join us for the upcoming sessions in Pula, Rijeka, and Varaždin to explore the future of AI in education with expert guidance from Ive Botunac.
