2022 – What a year it was! We rebranded! After months and months of intensive work, we are sure today that it was a good move.
To effectively develop a business, there is an indisputable need for change and evolution, so a big part of our rebranding is also a new website on a new AI domain.
The increase of employees by more than 30% is following our changes on a business level, but our real success is our commitment to supporting employees in their day-to-day performance. Soon, the final part of our rebranding project will be to say goodbye to our old offices and redesign it in alignment with our new visual identity.
By broadening the scope of a company’s road map in a way that incorporates all business units, each piece of the business can learn from its others.
Our experienced experts in Alfa team were successful in applying for EU grants. EU-funded projects for ALFATEC Group in 2022 are:
- Development of CSTI platform for retrieval and analysis of structured and unstructured data
The project is co-financed by EU funds from the European Regional Development Fund through OP Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020 within the Call for Proposals: development of the products and services arising from research and development activities;
- Commercialisation of Alfatec Elarion Hospitality solution - one of the strategic determinants of Alfatec Elarion platform;
- “Hydrogen Battlefield Reconnaissance and Intelligence Drone” (HYBRID)
Our HYBRID project is officially funded by European Defence Fund (EDF). It is one of the most important projects in ALFATEC Group and its further development will be within our Homeland Security division, coordinated by Delair, and supported by ISD SA INTEGRATED SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT.
Our IT security team was also working very hard in 2022, so Alfatec has been awarded in the category „CEE Fastest Growing Distributor“ for the year 2021! With this award, Thales, the information systems and communications security leader recognized Alfatec Group among a regional field of top partners for demonstrating excellence in outstanding sales and revenue performance. This recognizes, rewards, and supports the partnership and collaboration between Thales and Alfatec Group. Our joint technology knowledge drives incremental growth and revenue across the data protection portfolio.
Driven by such excellent cooperation we held two very successful Bootcamps, in June and November.
Along with our great employees, supporting students is one of our key priorities - monitoring and keeping them on track with their learning and treating them equally and fairly. We are pleased we participated in four important student events – FER's Job Fair and Brucošijada, FOI's Week of Careers, and PMF's WISE fair.
Last, but not least - we traveled a lot in 2022. World Fairs bring together people and companies redefining the global tech industry. ALFATEC Group shared ideas with others in the field, met future partners, and brought valuable skills back to the offices in Zagreb and Zadar. We presented Alfatec Elarion Hospitality solution for hotels and campsites at the WTM tourist fair in London and TTG Travel Experience 2022 in Rimini. We didn't forget about Web Summit in Lisbon, a must-attend by industry members from across the world, where our Software Research & Development department was proud to present Alfatec Elarion Hospitality as their successful project.
